Kiwiversity

Kiwiversity is a school management system designed to streamline administrative tasks for educational institutions. My role involved migrating the original system from PHP5 to PHP7, modernizing it with Bootstrap, and enhancing its functionality through HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL updates. Under the mentorship of Jean-Marc, I created new modules, added them to the navigation menu, and customized pages with text boxes, drop-downs, buttons, and more—using the original Kiwiversity as a reference. This project has been a cornerstone of my coding journey, showcasing my growth and adaptability in learning new technologies.

To understand how I received this position, please look at my post where I talk about how I met Jean-Marc and him mentoring me through my first coding project.

Jean-Marc was impressed with how quickly I caught onto coding and he offered me a position where he would mentor me in new coding languages in his start-up Kiwiverse to work on Kiwiversity, a school management system. I have learned EVERYTHING I know about coding through Jean-Marc, I feel incredibly lucky being involved in this project.
